DropIT! V1 – show your Audi as low as you want

More presence. Less effort. DropIT! V1 lowers selected Audi models with factory air suspension in a controlled way while the vehicle is stationary – directly through the OBD port, with no coding and no permanent changes to the vehicle.

Plug it in, lower the car and present your Audi exactly the way you want it to look at a meet, during a photo shoot or in the garage.

How DropIT! V1 works

1. Select the correct vehicle model.
2. Connect DropIT! V1 to the OBD port.
3. The lowering process starts automatically once connected.
4. DropIT! V1 lowers the front axle first and then automatically lowers the rear axle. You do not need to operate anything.
5. You can also stop the process at any time: a short tap on the brake stops lowering on the currently active axle.

DropIT! is not a conventional lowering module and does not change the driving ride height. It uses existing functions of the original control unit – without permanent coding or fundamental changes to the vehicle software.

Is DropIT! V1 compatible with your Audi?

Your vehicle must have factory-fitted air suspension.

Compatible without an SFD2 check

• Audi A6 / S6 / RS6 C7 incl. Allroad
• Audi A7 / S7 / RS7 C7
• Audi A8 / S8 D4

These models are not affected by SFD2 / UNECE.

Generally also compatible without an SFD2 check up to early 2023

• Audi A6 / S6 / RS6 C8 incl. Allroad
• Audi A7 / S7 / RS7 C8
• Audi A8 / S8 D5
• Audi Q7 / SQ7 4M
• Audi Q8 / SQ8 / RS Q8 4M
• Audi Q5 / SQ5 FY

For these vehicles, SFD2 generally does not need to be considered if the vehicle was built up to early 2023.

Please check SFD2 on newer vehicles

This mainly affects model year 2024 and, in some cases, vehicles built from mid-2023. Vehicles with SFD2 / UNECE diagnostic protection are not compatible.

Possible indicators include:

• PR code NI1, NI7, NI8 or NI9
• Diagnostic message “SFD2” or “UNECE”

Based on the current information available, PR code NI0 is considered uncritical. You can usually find the PR codes in the service booklet or on the vehicle data sticker in the luggage compartment.

DropIT! V1 is intended for use while the vehicle is stationary. The vehicle must not be moved during the lowering process. Before use, make sure there is sufficient clearance between the wheels, tyres and bodywork.
