Lowering the Audi A6 & A7 C8 air suspension when stationary

Correctly check SFD2 before purchase

For C8 vehicles up to early 2023, SFD2 is generally not an issue. However, model year 2024 and some vehicles from mid-2023 may have SFD2/UNECE diagnostic protection and are then not compatible.

  • PR code NI0: currently uncritical
  • PR code NI1, NI7, NI8 or NI9: check before ordering
  • Diagnostic message "SFD2" or "UNECE": do not order before compatibility is clarified

Automatic show mode via OBD

  1. Select the appropriate A6 or A7 C8 variant.
  2. Connect DropIT! V1 to the OBD socket.
  3. Front axle and then rear axle are automatically lowered.

No coding is required. The brake does not need to be applied; a brief brake tap is merely an additional stop option for the active axle.

Yes, provided the vehicle has the standard air suspension and is not protected by SFD2/UNECE. Choose the A6/S6/RS6 C8 variant.

Does DropIT! work with the A7 or RS7 C8?

Yes, with the separate A7/S7/RS7 C8 variant and after successful SFD2 check.

Do I have to operate anything during lowering?

No. The process is fully automatic. The stop option by tapping the brake is optional.
